Hanna Kebbede is a consummate professional who helped design,
implement and report on a series of colloquia conducted by the Africa-America Institute (AAI) in Ghana and Namibia. Her focus,
insight and talents were instrumental in the success of an international effort undertaken by the AAI to marshal the support
of our 20,000 alumni in human resources development projects. Hanna’s work helped AAI directors identify areas of collaboration,
while suggesting strategies for engaging leaders from the education, science, political, and economic sectors. My experience
working with Hanna extends to a period at Northern Virginia Community College, where my colleagues and I benefitted from her
content architecture and training expertise. As a manager in the College’s Workforce Development Office/Continuing Education
Office, Hanna successfully planned, designed and marketed programs in support of our mandate to meet local demands for professional
development courses and workshops. Mrs. Vivian Awumey, Director Educational Resources, Library of Congress www.loc.gov
As
AAI’s consultant in 2004, Ms. Hanna Kebbede served as rapporteur, content developer and author of AAI’s report
to USAID on African Technology for Education and Workforce Development Initiative (AFTECH). Her vision was instrumental
in shaping the course of the final report. Ms. Kebbede was a
key member of the five-person planning team who worked on AAI’s AFTECH initiative and international conferences in Ghana
and Namibia. Her input was substantive and her previous experience was invaluable in driving the conference’s content.

Affairs I
thoroughly enjoy and deeply appreciate the consulting service provided by Hanna Kebbede. If it hadn’t
been her, I wouldn’t be writing my book now --- a dream that I have entertained over the past 30 years!
In less than two months -- five weekly meetings of about 2-hours each -- Hanna guided me through
the process of producing a meaningful outline. By her probing questions, her empathy, her ability to pick the
essential and to identify the common thread from a maze of unorganized data, she succeeded in
giving me a meaningful framework to guide my thoughts. In the process of doing so, she drew from me
ideas and information that I thought I didn’t have; she also helped me realize that writing the book would be
exciting and I could even complete it in a short time if I wanted to. It was an unusual accomplishment on the
part of a coach! I am looking forward to our continued collaboration in completing the book and bringing it to publication
next year. Lem H. Truong, Ph.D., President, L.T.Associaites, Inc. www.ltassociates.com
