Hanna
Kebbede Ms. Kebbede is the lead generator for HanmarK
Associates as well as its business process manager.
In Africa, Asia and Europe Ms. Kebbede has
been a research pioneer doing field work in rural communities. As a management consultant, she did troubleshooting and evaluating
programs in the range from refugee settlement to entrepreneur training and from women's participation to electoral assistance
in the birth of a new nation. An expert at streamlining best practices, she addresses caveats in
communication, coordinates among various entities and interprets complex technical data to create iterative modules for incremental
learning. Her modules are easy to follow with friendly learning guides that factor layered issues and are presented with graphic
designs and animated images.
Ms. Kebbede has created programs, coached decision makers, and
authored materials for the transfer of knowledge in more than a dozen countries worldwide. She has been a conduit for knowledge
transfer since the beginning of her career as a facilitator and researcher in the planning division of a rural development
and agriculture extension project in Ethiopia that was funded by the Swedish Agricultural Development Authority.
Ms. Kebbede developed logistics training modules on surface transport contracting and port operations
for the World Food Programme. Previously, Ms. Kebbede planned, produced and trained East Timor’s electoral officers
for the United Nations, transforming the civil service workforce within the newly independent nation. In UNICEF’s program
funding office, she created a relational database system to track bilateral donations from G8 and private pledges and generated
on-demandreports identifiable by country on global program allocations.
In Bulgaria, she resuscitated
a national labor force qualification program and designed a regional training program to transition high-level pedagogy experts
into emerging market entrepreneurs.
LUCY GEBRE EGZIABHER
Lucy Gebre Egziabher is a filmmaker and a training specialist in international education exchange.
Her award winning productions include At The Second Traffic Light that is used for diversity and peace building training.
An effective communicator, Lucy lectures on film and video productions at various educational institutions. Her filmmaking
is complemented by approximately twenty years of experience in international education. She designs curriculum and delivers
training in film and video productions. Lucy focuses on training people to use video in advocacy and on social development
issues particularly women trafficking, orphaned children and HIV/AIDS.
LAURIE PRICE
Laurie Price is a language arts professional. With over 20 years of experience as an editor/copy
editor, proofreader and translator within various business and education sectors, Laurie has taught English to business executives
and individuals seeking to attain the Cambridge First Certificate and/or Toefl test certificate. For editorial work she specializes
in educational and business documents of all kinds, working with multinational educational publishers and US companies with
an international presence to ensure that all of their published material is clear, correct and reads naturally. In addition,
she specializes in ESL/EFL editing: correcting documents written and/or translated by non-native English speakers.
